In order to clearly grasp the vision of “Tzibur B’nei Yisrael” we must first open
our eyes and hearts to the possibility of a different reality. In effect what we are
talking about is a paradigm shift that will allow us to visualize and believe in the
reality of “Achdut Yisrael”. We must remove the politically and religiously tinted
spectacles that prejudice the way we see each-other.
Imagine being able to gather together the incisive comments of thousands of
individuals - web talkbackers - dealing with a spectrum of concerns. Imagine these
selfsame individuals coming together voluntarily in meetings and setting up task
forces for change. Imagine any number of grass roots initiatives coming to life
through the actions of regular people, with regular jobs, who are giving of
themselves for the greater public good. These individuals will decide what has
meaning and is worth fighting for.
What is sorely lacking is a structure that will facilitate the expression of
this enthusiasm and positive energy. If no public office is sensitive to the
people’s cries, then should we be surprised that cynicism and apathy are the
rule? Our vision is to be sensitive to the individual and his dreams.
