Concerning Mitzpeh Shalhevet in Hebron

The Court has ruled that the neighbohood in Hebron known as Shalhevet is Jewish property belonging to the Sephardic Trust "Magen Avot," and the tenets occupied the property with the expressed consent of the owners.

The Court finds that the residents/tenents engaged in improvments and modifications of the proerty, with the consent of the owners, with full knowledge of the authorites. The Court has concluded that removal of the tenents/residents from their homes is a severe violation of Torah and Halakhah.

1. A Violation of Theft

2. A Violation of Preventing one's fellow to prosper

3. A Violation of standing idly by one's fellow

4. Endangering the lives of fellow Jews, in particular by embolding the morale of the enemy.

5. Such action would be a Desecration of HaShem's Name

The Court demands that the residents not be expelled from their home and declares that anyone who participates or aids in such an expulsion will be answerable to the aforementioned violations. The Court declares that those responsible will answer for their crimes.

It is signed:
Chief Justice R' Yisrael Ariel
Justice R' Yehudah Edri
