The proper form of legislature for the Nation of Israel, a legal system founded on the Torah

Statement of the Sanhedrin

The Sanhedrin wishes to congratulate the Minister of Justice Prof. Yaakov Neeman did a kiddush shem Shamayim[1] in public. He pointed to the proper form of legislature for the Nation of Israel: a legal system founded on the Torah, as it said by Rabbenu Saadia Gaon - our people are not a nation without the Torah. In a fitting way Yaakov Neeman fulfilled the meaning of his name "Neeman" (which means faithful), and the mission of "Yaakov" (our forefather), a pure man learning in the tents. You have brought honor to your family.

TRANSLATION IN PROGRESS

Sanhedrin founders formulated near the establishment Convention a tribunal to bring the Torah which determined the provision of laws of the Torah life sentence and agreed in the establishment of courts throughout the country.

Establishment of alternative courts system as noted by the Minister of Justice is needed time and not just civil law, but in all areas of law. Indeed there are norms to coordinate the criminal punishment system. Two systems can live in peace and coordination.

Here, the Jewish people, a great way to be laws of the Torah to all the people agreed. These processes involve gentle, nurturing prestige of Torah courts, intellectualize their procedures in maintaining the cooperation of the public about the far turn. All this together with the organization of communities around the guardians of the Torah laws of the Torah.

Fundamental decisions of the Sanhedrin - every law in the State of Israel received correctly does not contradict the laws of the Torah is the law invalid.

We ask Mhmtramim the words of the minister loyal to pursue my door Laura Law suit.

Out of respect for the Torah, to find ways to establish law and strengthening of Torah and Israel in Palestine.

Negation of Torah law, invalidate, God forbid, the legitimacy of the Jewish state. Such denial, risk, already present, obviously, the continued existence, and existence in the future even more.

  1. Kiddush hashem (Hebrew: קידוש השם‎; “sanctification of the name [of God]”) is a precept of Judaism as expressed in the Torah for any Jew: “To sanctify His Name” Leviticus 22:32, and conversely not to bring dishonor or shame to God’s name which is known as Chillul Hashem: “Not to profane His Name” Lev. 22:32. Thus any action by a Jew that brings honor, respect, and glory to God is considered to be a Kiddush Hashem, whereas any behavior or action that disgraces, harms or shames God and his Torah is regarded as a Chillul Hashem which means a “desecration of God.”
