Special Court for Matters Concerning the Nation and the State
(Operating Autonomously)

Announcement concerning "Beit Shapira" in Hebron

The decision of the Supreme Court in the matter of "Beit Shapira" by which they will evacuate the Jews from a house that was rented according to law, until clarification by the court -- is contrary to justice and law, and strikes at essential rights of property ownership.

Regrettably, the court elevates the rights of personal dignity and freedom, but then turns the law into an empty statute.

The Supreme Court has been enlisted by the political establishment, and together they are working to undermine the rights of Jews in the Land of Israel.

Residents of Beit Shapira! Your residing inside your homes is from the strength of the commandment 'to inherit and reside' in the Land of Israel. It is an fundamental right granted by the Torah that can not be appealed.

Accordingly, there is a prohibition to evacuate the building, neither from fear of the non-Jewish population, and certainly not from fear of the Jewish [authorities]. By your residence [in that city] you perpetuate the Jewish heritage of Abraham in Hebron. Remember! Voluntarily evacuation of the building is the first step of evacuation of all Jews in the [traditional Jewish areas of] Judah and the Shamron [West Bank], G-d forbid, and would be the 'beginning of failure' Do not be lured into a compromise solution [of fundamental rights]. See what the fate of the residents of Shalhevet neighborhood was! The judicial adviser negotiated an agreement that ended in a mockery of justice. Concerning the Government of Israel, we must apply the principle: 'that which they say comes to nothing, and in their right hand is falsehood!' Accordingly, in spite of the Supreme Courts legal opinion, it is illegal to desert the building, even if the Prime Minister would [use his authority to] call in the riot police with their horses and batons. As tomorrow approaches, everyone must prepare for himself - man and woman, young and old - helmets and first aid [because of the expected police brutality], and bodily [non-violently] resist the expulsion of Jews from the property of Abraham the father of the Israeli nation! The Land of Israel is achieved only through suffering and self sacrifice! In closing, a blessing: Be strong and have courage, for the sake of our nation and for the sake of our holy cities, and G-d will turn it for good!
